Good Morning Jackson Middle School! Today is Tuesday, May 1st and these are your morning announcements:

Your weather forecast for today is Sunny with a high of 77.

Today’s menu is Bosco Sticks with Marinara Sauce, Burrito with Meat and Cheese, Santiago Refried Beans, Tossed Salad, Fruit Choice, and Milk.

Last night the Jackson track team competed against Canal Winchester.

Winning events for the boys:  Tyler Lloyd, Juan Figueroa, Nick Fisher, Bryan Ransburgh, David Jordan, Kamari Davis, Kaine Bui, Steven Shafer

Bryan Ransburgh also set a new school record in the 800 meter run with a time of  2 minutes 22 seconds.

Also scoring points for the boys: Gavin Kirk, Tony Carillo, Gunnar Byas, Tyson Evans, Jacob Murphy, Dennis Ritlinger-Nirider

Congratulations to the whole team which continues to show great improvement.

The girls track team kept their winning streak alive last night with a 68-46 win over Canal Winchester.  the 4 by 100 relay team of Seitz, Grimm, Feucht and Waterman continued their win streak. Reagan Elliott had a big night winning the 100 and second in the 1600 as well as a huge leg of the 4 by 400 relay.  Caitlyn Pinto dominated the distance races again by winning the 1600 and the 800 as well as anchoring the 4 by 400. Feucht won the shot and Audrey Bueter got second in the disc both with personal bests. Isabella Dupray won the long jump and Cam Vawter and Mykayla Morgan won the high jump.

Come hear Spark of Class sing The National Anthem at Huntington Park! Saturday, May 19th @ 7:15!  Watch the Columbus Clippers take on the Charlotte Knights and meet your favorite Star Wars heroes and villains who will be in attendance throughout the ballpark! The evening will begin with live music in the Right Field Plaza from 5:40 – 7PM and will end with the first fireworks display of the 2018 season! Tickets are available for purchase at JMS for $6 each. Spark of Class will receive $1 back for every ticket sold at JMS. Tickets are available for purchase until May 3rd. See Mrs. Rist for an order form in the choir room if you are interested in purchasing tickets.

Any student interested in participating in the Jackson Golf Club: There is an informational meeting on May 3rd at 6:30 P.M., in the Jackson Middle School Cafeteria.

Coding club meets on Friday morning.
