Good Morning Jackson Middle School! Today is Tuesday, May 15th, and these are your morning announcements:


Your weather forecast for today is scattered rain with a high of 85.


Today’s menu is Bosco Sticks with Marinara Sauce, Burrito with Meat and Cheese, Santiago Refried Beans, Tossed Salad, Fruit Choice, and Milk.


Coding Club meets on Friday morning.


ROX girls - both groups will meet today during 4th period in the health room. Please make sure you are there - we have a lot of important announcements.


7th grade FB players don’t forget to stay after school today and Thursday for workouts and dodgeball. Will end at 5:30


Attention mathletes! The last meeting of the year is tomorrow!  If you have the game 24 bring it to the meeting. See everyone tomorrow at 8.


Anyone interested in being a member of 2018-2019 Spark of Class show choir...Auditions will be this Saturday, May 19, from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.  Come prepared to sing a solo of your choice. You will be taught a short dance that morning to audition with as well. See Mrs. Rist with any questions.


Last night the Jackson Boys finished third in the district track meet.  Scoring points for the Jackson boys were Tyson Evans, Bryan Ransburgh, Juan Figueroa, Stephen Shafer, David Jordan, Kamari Davis, Drake Albright, Nick Fisher, Thomas Donker, Kaine Bui, Tyler Lloyd, Gavin Kirk, and Tony Carillo.

Congratulations to the boys team for bringing home another trophy.

Setting a new school record in the 400 meter dash was Nick Fisher  59.40 seconds.

Congratulations to the girls track team for winning another district championship last night with 137 points to Norton's second of 88.  District champions were Morgan Waterman in the 200 hurdles and high jump, the 4 by 400 relay team of Miran Donaldson, Shae Grimm, Reganne Elliott and Caitlyn Pinto,  Alissa Schiff won the 200 meters and 400 meters by breaking the school record in both. District runner-ups were Gracie Smith in the 100 hurdles, Caitlyn Pinto in the 1600 meters and the 800 meters, Ciera Feucht in the shot put and the 4 by 100 meter relay of Hannah Seitz, Shae Grimm, Ciera Feucht and Morgan Waterman.  Alissa Schiff got second in the 100 meters as well. Reganne Elliott got two third places in 1600 and 100. Mikyla Jones and Erin Russell-Mann got 3rd and 4th in the hurdles, as well as Cam Vawter's 4th in the high jump. Great job ladies on the 14th championship in the 16 years of the school.
