Good Morning Jackson Middle School! Today is Thursday, May 3rd, and these are your morning announcements:

Today’s menu is Chicken Tenders, Pasta with Meat Sauce, Garlic Toast, Green Beans, Tossed Salad, Fruit Choice, and Milk.


Come hear Spark of Class sing The National Anthem at Huntington Park! Saturday, May 19th @ 7:15!  Watch the Columbus Clippers take on the Charlotte Knights and meet your favorite Star Wars heroes and villains who will be in attendance throughout the ballpark! The evening will begin with live music in the Right Field Plaza from 5:40 – 7PM and will end with the first fireworks display of the 2018 season! Tickets are available for purchase at JMS for $6 each. Spark of Class will receive $1 back for every ticket sold at JMS. Tickets are available for purchase until May 3rd. See Mrs. Rist for an order form in the choir room if you are interested in purchasing tickets.


Last night the Jackson boys competed against Pleasant View.

Winning events for the boys:  Nick Fisher--400 meter dash, Bryan Ransburgh--800 meter and 1600 meter, Boys 4X400 Team-- Juan Figueroa, Bryan Ransburgh, Nick Fisher and Tyler Lloyd.

Also scoring points for the boys in various events:  Tyson Evans, Andrew Vo, Juan Figueroa, Kamari Davis, Gavin Kirk, Tony Carillo, Curtis Cox, and Tyler Lloyd


The girls track team finished the dual meet season undefeated last night with a 71.5-43.5 win over Pleasant View.  Caitlyn Pinto won both of her events again and anchored the 4 by 400 relay. Alyssa Schiff won the 400 and 200. Morgan Waterman, Ciera Feucht and Audrey Beuter all won their events in the field.  Special congratulations to the 4 by 200 relay team of Mikyla Jones, Erin Russell-Mann, Jenna Neff and Chole Feller for their win. The girls won all three relays for the first time this season. Reminder that today is picture day right after school.  Great season ladies!!

Any student interested in participating in the Jackson Golf Club: There is an informational meeting tonight at 6:30 P.M., in the Jackson Middle School Cafeteria.


Coding club meets tomorrow morning.
