Ultimate Club meets today from 4:15-5:15 in the park out back. Everyone is invited. See you there!

Don’t forget Kona Ice will be here this afternoon. You can buy a snow cone for $3, $4, or $5. Plus, Kona Ice is adding to our donation for the hurricane by donating 25% of what they make.

Attention NJHS members: Our first meeting of the year will be next Wednesday, September 20th at 8 a.m. in room 103. See you there.

The Jackson Gymnastics Team comprised of just 4 of our members last night (Natalie Foltz, Gracie Smith, Mimi Shaw, and Emma Claypool) placed third at their first ever gymnastics meet. Some top 6 finishes… On vault, Mimi Shaw (our PV teammate) placed 1st, Emma Claypool placed 5th, Gracie Smith placed 6th.  On bars, Mimi placed 3rd.  On beam, Mimi placed 1st and Emma placed 2nd.  Next meet is Tuesday, September 19th at Thomas Worthington High School.

The JMS FB team was in another close game last night against Olentangy Orange. With Orange ahead with minutes left in the game, leading 14-7 the Jackson offense decided to plow their way to victory going 60 yards with David Jordan dragging players the last 10 yards into the endzone. Blocking his way was Gavin Kick, Levi Rice, Parker Sayre, Van Norman, Will Bully, Zach Combs, and Trevor Mills. They did it again to get the conversion to win the game. David Jordan also took a 65 yard pass for our first TD with David Haack kicking his first Extra Point in his first try of the season, earlier in the game. Cole Stevens led the team in tackles with 8. Jackson’s record is 2-1-1.

Drama Club meets today from 4 to 5 in the cafeteria!

Please stand for the pledge.

Everyone at Jackson Middle School; MAKE today a great day!
