The 7th grade lady Jaguars lost a tough one last night to Canal Winchester by a score of 16 to 19 in overtime. The Jags played with tremendous effort and heart, but fell short.  Hannah Rutan and Carly Turner led the team in rebounding with 15 rebounds between them. Once again great defense led the way for the Jags keeping them in the game.

The 8th Grade Girls Basketball Team had a stunning win last night in overtime! Beating Canal Winchester at home by 6 points. Final score being 25  to 19. The Lady Jags were down by 5 at half-time and battled back. In the second-half the Lady Jags scored 13 points and held Canal to only 7 points to send the game in overtime at 19 to 19. Alissa and Belle both made 3 free-throws apiece to seal the victory in overtime. Alissa led all scorers with 11 points, Belle had a strong game with 9 points, Reganne and Olivia both had 2 points and Andrea chipped in a free-throw. Emma, Sam and Rebekah provided great defense and rebounding to help the Lady Jags win their 7th game of the season. Way to not give up and play as a team. Practice today is after school.

The 7th grade boys defeated Canal Winchester last night 43 to 41. After leading 25 to 14 at halftime, the Jags had to fight hard in the second half to preserve the victory.  The Jags were led in scoring by Camp Williams with 19 points.  Other top scorers include Trevor Mills with 7 points,  Aeneas Reynolds and Parker Snyder with 4 points, Christian Isaacs and Daniel Fetty with 3 points, and Zac Cheerhart and Spencer Stoll with 2 points each.
