Good Morning Jackson Middle School! Today is Friday, April 20th, and these are your morning announcements:

Today’s menu is Maple Glazed French Toast w/Sausage, Breakfast Sandwich, Tater Tots, Slushie, Graham Crackers, Fruit Choice, and Milk. 

7th grade Robotics Club members: please see Mrs. Stephens right after announcements.  

Last night the Jackson Boys competed in the Westfall Invitational. The boys finished third out of 8 teams. Finishing first for the boys were Bryan Ransburgh in the 1600 meter. Also scoring points for the Jackson boys were Steven Shafer, David Jordan, Juan Figueroa, Kamari Davis, Drake Albright, Nick Fisher, Tyler Lloyd, Kaine Bui, Tony Carillo, Curtis Cox, and Gavin Kirk. This was a very strong showing for the boys. Congratulations and keep up the hard work.

The girls track team needed everyone's contribution to win the Westfall Classic last night.  Special congratulations to the 4x400 meter relay of Miriam Donaldson, Shae Grimm, Caitlyn Pinto and in her first time in this event Peyton Buckley for winning and securing a 102-101 victory over Circleville. Alyssa Schiff was voted meet Medalist for the most outstanding performance of the night. Enjoy your weekend and see you at practice on Monday.

Attention 8th graders interested in participating in the GCHS Color Guard: Color Guard will be holding 4 clinics to teach basic Color Guard Skills. The first clinic will take place on April 24th, from 4:30-6:30. The clinics will take place in the band wing on the left side of the high school. Please see the JMS website for times of all 4 clinics.

Any student interested in participating in the Jackson Golf Club: There is an informational meeting on May 3rd at 6:30 P.M., in the Jackson Middle School Cafeteria.

Got Talent? Can you sing, play an instrument, have a band, dance, juggle, do magic, or a comedy routine. Come audition for the talent show. Auditions are Monday April 23rd or Thursday April 26th from 4 to 6 in the ERC. Performances will be on the last day of school.

Ultimate Frisbee Club is meeting today after school. If you want to be a little social and have some fun, come on out to the park! 

ROAR cards are passed out by teachers who catch students in the act of living up to our ROAR ideals at Jackson. The more cards you have entered, the greater your chances to win! The following students have demonstrated that they are Respectful, Optimistic, Accountable, and Resilient. When your name is called, please come down to the office for your reward.
