Good Morning Jackson Middle School! Today is Thursday, May 31st, and these are your LAST morning announcements for the year!

Hey future engineers and robot wizzes, the South-Western City Schools Robotics and Stem Summer Camp is right around the corner. Learn how to build and program VEX robots while working with a team, competing for awards and prizes. Summer camp will be held at the South-Western Career Academy from June 12-14, 9am-3pm each day. See Mrs. Stephens in room 162 for pick up an informational flyer.


Attention All Students:  MRS. MURRAY NEEDS YOUR OVERDUE LIBRARY BOOKS TODAY!!


Attention Baseball Players:  Grove City High School is offering a Summer Baseball Camp from June 11th-14th.  Any player interested will find more information at the front office.


Any 7th grade boy interested in playing basketball next year meet in the gym after announcements.


Talent Show Participants:  Please check in with your homeroom teachers and report to the cafeteria immediately!


ROAR cards are passed out by teachers who catch students in the act of living up to our ROAR ideals at Jackson. The more cards you have entered, the greater your chances to win! Today’s menu is Big Daddy’s Pizza, Chef Salad with Ultra Bread and Croutons, Chicken Leg with Breadstick, Sweet Potato Fries, Broccoli with Ranch Dip,  Fruit Choice, and Milk.

Attention Freshmen Football Players:  A reminder that if you are attending the Ohio State Football Camp, you can pick up your helmet tonight at the Rec Center at 5 P.M.  Also, if you haven’t paid, bring your money tonight, as well.


If you are interested in playing sports next year at Jackson Middle School, or at GCHS, you must have a current physical on file.  OhioHealth will be offering free, yes free, physicals today, from 5:30 - 7:15pm (registration), at the Ohio Health Neighborhood Care (next to Aldi's). Physicals may be found at the front office, or on our JMS Website.  Please have form completed and signed by parent. This physical will be good for all athletics next school year. Thank you

ROX Girls:  We will meet very shortly today for a quick picture.  Please go to the health room at the beginning of 4th period. Also, ROX girls, don’t forget that we will meet during 4th period on Friday for our final meeting.


Students - just a reminder that although the school year is winding down, we do still have five days of school left.  The expectation is that we continue to meet school rules the last six days of school. That includes getting to class on time, keeping food and drink in the cafeteria, having only clear water in the classroom as needed, keeping phones off and out of sight in the classroom, to name a couple.  Please finish the school year on a strong positive note!

This Friday is the final Ultimate Frisbee Club meeting of the year. We’ll be out on the football field after school. You’re all welcome to come out, it’s going to be THE best thing ever.

Today’s menu is Chicken Patty Sandwich, Beef Hot Dog, Baked Beans, Veggies and Dip, Fruit Choice, and Milk.


Reminder to all track athletes.  Today is the end of the season track pizza party.  During your regular lunch period bring something to drink to the ERC for pizza and awards from the season.


Attention yearbook staff.  We will meet for our party today from 4-5 and pass out yearbooks. We will meet in the library.  See you then!

Good Morning Jackson Middle School! Today is Friday, May 18th and these are your morning announcements:


Your weather forecast for today is rain with a high of 72.


Today’s menu is Maple Glazed French Toast with Turkey Sausage, Breakfast Sandwich, Tater Tots, Sunbelievable Slushie, Despicable Me Grahams, Fruit Choice, and Milk.


Congratulations to all of the bands, the orchestra and the choirs for an outstanding showing at Capital University the last two days!  All bands received a Superior rating, the orchestra received a Superior rating and both Concert Choir and Symphonic Choir received an Excellent rating.  All participating students should be very proud of their performances!


Attention Jackson Men's club members. We will not meet again this week. Pay attention to announcements about meeting next week to finish our project.

Anyone interested in being a member of 2018-2019 Spark of Class show choir...Auditions will be this Saturday, May 19, from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.  Come prepared to sing a solo of your choice. You will be taught a short dance that morning to audition with as well. See Mrs. Rist with any questions.


If you received a pink slip for ROX in homeroom this morning, please go to the ERC for the meeting NOT the cafe as the slip reads.  Thanks!

Today’s menu is Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Mac and Cheez-Its, Green Beans, Tossed Salad,  Fruit Choice, and Milk.


Attention Concert Band Members, you need to report to the band room at 10:00 o’clock this morning for contest. This happens before the end of first period. Watch the clock and quietly exit your classroom.


Coding Club meets tomorrow morning.


Attention Jackson Men's club members. We will not meet again this week. Pay attention to announcements about meeting next week to finish our project.
