Good Morning Jackson Middle School! Today is Monday, April 23rd, and these are your morning announcements:

Your weather forecast for today is mostly sunny with evening rain showers & a high of 65.

Today’s menu is Chicken Patty Sandwich, Beef Hot Dog, Baked Beans, Veggies & Dip, Fruit Choice, and Milk. 

Attention 8th graders interested in participating in the GCHS Color Guard: Color Guard will be holding 4 clinics to teach basic Color Guard Skills. The first clinic will take place tomorrow, April 24th, from 4:30-6:30. The clinics will take place in the band wing on the left side of the high school. 

All 2018 - 2019 JMS Cheerleaders must turn in all order forms to Ms.Varney by the end of the day. They will not be accepted tomorrow…

Any student interested in participating in the Jackson Golf Club: There is an informational meeting on May 3rd at 6:30 P.M., in the Jackson Middle School Cafeteria.

Got Talent? Can you sing, play an instrument, have a band, dance, juggle, do magic, or a comedy routine. Come audition for the talent show. Today’s the day, Auditions are today or Thursday April 26th from 4 to 6 in the ERC. Please Go to room 221 and have a seat.  Performances will be on the last day of school.

Good Morning Jackson Middle School! Today is Friday, April 20th, and these are your morning announcements:

Your weather forecast for today is sunny with a high of 56.

Today’s menu is Maple Glazed French Toast w/Sausage, Breakfast Sandwich, Tater Tots, Slushie, Graham Crackers, Fruit Choice, and Milk. 

7th grade Robotics Club members: please see Mrs. Stephens right after announcements.  

Last night the Jackson Boys competed in the Westfall Invitational. The boys finished third out of 8 teams. Finishing first for the boys were Bryan Ransburgh in the 1600 meter. Also scoring points for the Jackson boys were Steven Shafer, David Jordan, Juan Figueroa, Kamari Davis, Drake Albright, Nick Fisher, Tyler Lloyd, Kaine Bui, Tony Carillo, Curtis Cox, and Gavin Kirk. This was a very strong showing for the boys. Congratulations and keep up the hard work.

The girls track team needed everyone's contribution to win the Westfall Classic last night.  Special congratulations to the 4x400 meter relay of Miriam Donaldson, Shae Grimm, Caitlyn Pinto and in her first time in this event Peyton Buckley for winning and securing a 102-101 victory over Circleville. Alyssa Schiff was voted meet Medalist for the most outstanding performance of the night. Enjoy your weekend and see you at practice on Monday.

Ultimate Frisbee Club is meeting today after school. If you want to be a little social and have some fun, come on out to the park! 

ROAR cards are passed out by teachers who catch students in the act of living up to our ROAR ideals at Jackson. The more cards you have entered, the greater your chances to win! The following students have demonstrated that they are Respectful, Optimistic, Accountable, and Resilient. When your name is called, please come down to the office for your reward.

Good Morning Jackson Middle School! Today is Thursday, April 19th, and these are your morning announcements:

Your weather forecast for today is a mix of sun and clouds with a high of 46.

Today’s menu is Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Mac & Cheez-Its, Green Beans, Tossed Salad, Fruit Choice, and Milk. 

The girls track team beat Ridgeview and narrowly lost to Lakeview last night. Congratulations to event winners Audrey Bueter, Ciera Feucht, Caitlyn Pinto, Olivia Bartley, and Alyssa Schiff 3 times. Hannah Seitz, Gracie Smith, and Abbie Keplar all had big scores for the girls as well. Reminder that all Westfall participants should check with your teachers for early release at 3:20.

Last night the track team traveled to Pickerington. The boys had an excellent showing and many set personal records. Winning events for the boys were: Dennis Ritlinger-Nirider in the 200 Hurdles, Gavin Kirk in the Discus, and Juan Figueroa, Bryan Ransburgh, Nick Fisher, and Tyler Lloyd in the 4x400 Relay. Also scoring points for the boys were Tyson Evans, Callan Kadjasz, Steven Shafer, Kaine Bui, Nick Fisher, Trenton Vanderwerf, Tony Carillo, Curtis Cox, Kamari Davis, Drake Albright, and David Jordan. Congratulations to all the boys who competed and continue to improve.

Good Morning Jackson Middle School! Today is Wednesday, April 18th, and these are your morning announcements:

Your weather forecast for today is partly cloudy with a high of 58.

Today’s menu is Big Daddy’s Pizza, Chef Salad w/Bread, Vegetable Blend w/Cheese, Carrots w/Dip, Fruit Choice, and Milk. 

Reminder for the track athletes going to Lakeview today, check with your teachers that you are being dismissed at 3:20 today.  

Anyone interested in trying out for the GCHS Cheer Squads must get a packet from the office and attend a mandatory parent meeting this Wednesday, April 18th at 6pm at the high school. The packet is due May 3rd at the 1st clinic. Clinics will continue through May 4th and tryouts will be held on May 5th. Again, you can find high school cheer packets in the main office.

Good Morning Jackson Middle School! Today is Tuesday, April 17th, and these are your morning announcements:

Your weather forecast for today is partly cloudy with a high 46.

Today’s menu is Bosco Sticks w/Marinara, Burrito w/Meat & Cheese, Refried Beans, Fruit Choice, and Milk.  

Any girl interested in playing golf for the GCHS Girls Varsity Golf team next year should come to a meeting today at 6:30pm in Portable 2. If anyone is unable to make it, please see Coach Blaney for the information.

Congratulations to the JMS Robot Warriors! Mrs. Walters and Mrs. Stephens are proud of all of your hard work this year that culminated into a great learning experience last week at our very first competition, The National Robotics Challenge. Way to go Jags Robotics Club! Due to testing, Robotics Club will not meet until May. Listen to announcements for the next meeting date.

Good Morning Jackson Middle School! Today is Monday, April 16th, and these are your morning announcements:


Your weather forecast for today is cloudy and much colder with a high of 42.


Today’s menu is Chicken Drumstick w/Roll, Cheeseburger, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Carrots w/Dip, Fruit Choice, and Milk.


Congratulations to all music students who participated in Solo and Ensemble Competition this past Saturday. All students represented Jackson Middle School proudly with 54 superior ratings, and 21 excellent ratings in the band, choir, and orchestra competitions.

Good Morning Jackson Middle School! Today is Friday, April 13th, and these are your morning announcements:

Your weather forecast for today is sunny with a high of 78.

Today’s menu is BBQ Chicken Flatbread, Grilled Cheese Sandwich, Tomato Soup, Tossed Salad, Cheez-Its, Fruit Choice, and Milk.

Attention 7th graders: The deadline for registering for DC is today. Make sure to register with Jackson, Prodigy, and pay the $135 deposit to secure your seat! If you miss the deadline, you will be put on a wait list. 

Congratulations to Morgan Waterman for winning the girls high jump last night in a school record tying 4 ft. 10 in. Also to Alyssa Schiff for a second and two third place finishes in a very competitive invitational. Track practice Monday after school.

Last evening the Jackson Boys track team competed at the New Albany Invitational. Many of the boys set personal bests. Scoring points for the Jackson boys: Drake Albright, Steven Shafer, David Jordan, Kamari Davis, Thomas Donker, Tony Carillo, Gavin Kirk, Bryan Ransburgh, Juan Figueroa, Tyler Lloyd, and Chris Burns. Again, congratulations to the Jackson boys who competed last night and continue to improve.

Attention students signed up for the escape room today: the room assignments, the schedule, and the list of teams competing against other teams, are posted in the cafeteria, above the water fountains, and on the upstairs trophy case. Please check these so that you know where and when to go to your escape room.

Attention Jackson Student Body: If you are meeting with a club, group or teacher, before school hours, your parent/guardian MUST drop you off at the front entrance by the school office. The back doors will remain locked until 8:55.

Ultimate Frisbee Club is back today after school! Everyone is welcome to come out to the park behind school for some frisbee. Let those Fortnite servers rest, bring a friend out and get that dub on frisbee! We will play until 5pm.

Attention Student Council-- please see Ms. Elder and Mrs. Diehl in room 221 to help distribute testing candy baggies right after announcements.
